Solventborne pigment concentrate

Resin-containing pigment concentrate based on Perylene red PR 178, ketone resin and TEGO® Dispers 710

The solvent-based pigment concentrate based on PALIOGEN® Red L 3910 HD achieved by this formulation contains a ketone resin and can be used for tinting of a broad variety of solvent-based coatings. The colorant shows good flowability and long-term stability. It has a low influence on water resistance and hardness and can be used for wood coatings and general as well as premium industrial coatings. Pigment loading and additive dosage are developed for grinding purposes. Pigment loading and rheology might need to be adjusted for use in a dispenser.

Preparation

Prepare a premix from positions 1 - 4 and add while stirring.
Add component 5 while stirring.
Grind with appropriate equipment until stable color strength has been reached.
