Waterborne pigment concentrate

Resin-free pigment concentrate based on iron oxide black PBk 11 and TEGO® Dispers 747 W

The water-based pigment concentrate based on BAYFERROX® 318 M achieved by this formulation is resin-free and can be used for tinting of a broad variety of water-based base paints and coatings. The colorant can be used for interior wall paints. It combines a low viscosity and good flowability with high color strength and outstanding compatibility. Pigment loading and additive dosage are developed for grinding purposes. Pigment loading and rheology might need to be adjusted for use in a dispenser.

Preparation

Prepare a premix from positions 1 - 5 and add while stirring.

Add component 6 while stirring.

Grind with appropriate equipment until stable color strength has been reached.

Adjust pH to 8.5.
