Resin-containing pigment concentrate based onquinacridone magenta PR 122, ketone resin and TEGO® Dispers 670

The solvent-based pigment concentrate based on HOSTAPERM® Pink E achieved by this formulation contains a ketone resin and can be used for tinting of a broad variety of solvent-based coatings. The colorant shows an almost Newtonian flow behavior. It has a low influence on water resistance and hardness and can be used for general and premium industrial coatings. Pigment loading and additive dosage are developed for grinding purposes. Pigment loading and rheology might need to be adjusted for use in a dispenser.

Preparation

Prepare a premix from positions 1 - 3 and add while stirring.

Add component 4 while stirring.

Grind with appropriate equipment until stable color strength has been reached.
