SPHERILEX® AC 45 is a spherical precipitated calcium silicate designed to improve corrosion resistance when added to a coating formulation. It has a typical calcium content (CaO%) of between 6.5-7.5% and a relatively low oil absorption. Due to its unique morphology, it may also enhance film hardness and improve abrasion resistance of the cured coating.

SPHERILEX® AC 45 HS is a spherical precipitated calcium silicate designed to improve corrosion resistance when added to a coating formulation. It has a typical calcium content (CaO%) of between 6.5-7.5% and a higher oil absorption than SPHERILEX® AC 45. Due to its unique morphology, it may also enhance film hardness and improve abrasion resistance of the cured coating.

SPHERILEX® DP-0110 has the smallest particle size within the SPHERILEX® family of products, making it ideal for thin film applications or systems where smaller and more transparent particles are preferred. In particular, SPHERILEX® DP-0110 is ideal for achieving burnish- and scrubresistant satin and eggshell finishes, and, when used in combination with silica matting agents, can enable deep matte, natural-looking wood coatings by improving the scratch, burnish, and mar resistance of the coating. It can also significantly improve the hardness of coil coatings.

SPHERILEX® DP-0111 is a precipitated amorphous (crystalline free) silica with unique spherical particle shape and very narrow particle size distribution.

SPHERILEX® DP-0112 has larger particle size, which is beneficial for properties like burnish and scrub resistance and may produce some degree of matting effect in certain systems, such as thin film applications and waterborne clear finishes.

SPHERILEX® DP-0115 has larger particle size, which is beneficial for properties like burnish and scrub resistance and may produce some degree of matting effect in certain systems, such as thin film applications and waterborne clear finishes.

SPHERILEX® DP-0117 represents the largest particle size within the SPHERILEX® family of silicas. It provides a significant matting effect in all coatings and is particularly useful in powder coatings where it provides both matting and improvements to the coating's durability. SPHERILEX® DP-0117 also provides excellent wet scrub, burnish, scuff, stain, and mar resistance in flat (matte) architectural coatings and thicker film liquid coatings containing higher loadings of other fillers.
