Matting

Matting enables precise adjustment of surface gloss without compromising film integrity. A controlled micro‑rough surface structure delivers uniform light scattering. This allows consistent matte appearance and attractive surface aesthetics.

NEW

SPHERILEX® DP-0117 represents the largest particle size within the SPHERILEX® family of silicas. It provides a significant matting effect in all coatings and is particularly useful in powder coatings where it provides both matting and improvements to the coating's durability. SPHERILEX® DP-0117 also provides excellent wet scrub, burnish, scuff, stain, and mar resistance in flat (matte) architectural coatings and thicker film liquid coatings containing higher loadings of other fillers.
