VISIOMER® MAPTAC

VISIOMER® MAPTAC (3-Trimethylammoniumpropyl methacrylamide chloride) is a quaternized aminofunctional monomer used to prepare water-soluble cationic polymers. As a methacrylamide monomer, it offers increased hydrolytic stability compared to methacrylic esters. Supplied as a 50 wt% aqueous solution, VISIOMER® MAPTAC is utilized in polymers for flocculation aids, friction reducers in oil production, retention, and dewatering agents.
